课程性质
中药学是研究中药基本理论、常用中药的性能、功效及临床应用的学科，是中医、中西医结合、中药专业的专业基础课，是中医基础与临床的桥梁。通过学习，使学生得以掌握传统的中药基本理论、常用中药的性能、功效及应用方法，为学习方剂学及其它专业课奠定基础。

后续课程：方剂学、中医内科学

The Curriculum introduces
The Chinese Materia Medica is the subject for studying the theory on Chinese drugs ,their producing areas, collection, preparation, effects, dosage , administration and its clinical applicatons. by way of the bridge between traditional Chinese medicine’s basic course and clinical course ,it’s an important component part of the traditional Chinese medicine. through learning，the students could mastery the Chinese Materia Medica basic theory、commonly used Chinese drugs property , effects and application， so as to establish the basis of formula and other TCM subjects.
Course nature: The specialized fundamental course
Requiring course: Chinese medicine basic theory, Chinese medicine diagnostics
Continuing course: Formulas of Chinese Medicine、 Chinese medicine internal medicine.
